Model CAR is an integrated stacking and packaging machine for both flat and tri-folded lady sanitary napkins and panty shields.

This new machine introduces a new concept from Fameccanica for high speed packaging processes. The product feeding unit has an innovative design guaranteeing a high feeding speed and allowing for the lowest level of vibrations and the maximum stability to the stacking process during any temporary speed variation or whenever the main production machine rejects one or more products. A high efficiency integrated system features an extraction unit, progressive stack pressing and a delivery unit for quickest feeding to the automatic packaging unit. The packaging unit can work with stacked wicket bags, but can also be bag making, thus allowing to have the most suitable kind of bag produced from a single polyethylene reel, keeping the incidence of packaging costs on each single end product at the lowest possible level. An automatic splicing system allows for a long duration of this production process. All operating units are driven by servo-motors for maximum flexibility in meeting any packaging format requirements and for fast size changeovers. Last, but not least, by having an integrated stacking and packing system one can benefit from the advantage of having an "all-in-one" equipment, requiring only a single connection to the already existing sanitary napkin manufacturing line.
