process with two-lanes running
simultaneously, either with side-by-side products
placing or with products nesting (according to
products shape).
· This machine can manufacture
panty shields with the main features requested
by the market (with or without side panels,
with straight-cut or rounded-cut core, with “full-size”
or “narrow-cut-to-length” release
paper, in several shapes including “tanga”
and with several embossing patterns).

machine is equipped with unwinders with brushless
servomotor driven expanding spindles, tension control
systems, web accumulation for “Zero-Speed”
cut&splice at full machine speed.

Dedicated defestooning systems
with dust-isolating cabins are installed for the
feeding of airlaid materials used for the absorbent
core.
· Additional tension control
devices with servo-motor equipment, guarantee
the best web tension control along the whole web
flow and allow reduced tension in case of accurate
application of delicate materials.

The cross-wise position of the product structure
materials is constantly controlled through electronic
web tracking and self-alignment equipment. |

D.P.S.S. product data management system
is available on industrial PC platform with Microsoft
Windows interface. This system, specifically designed
by Fameccanica, allows the effective collection,
storage and analysis of production data
(production, scraps and downtime, Pareto charts).
It is suitable for connection to any current network
for remote technical assistance. |

range of specific equipment can be installed for
the filtration of the air needed for the manufacturing
process (self cleaning rotary filters, dry sacs
systems, equipment for connection to centralized
plant filtering systems, etc.). |
