  GENERAL MACHINE CONCEPT

Fameccanica Model FNL E99 is a real step forward in converting equipment for the manufacturing of Lady Sanitary Napkins and Pantyliners.
Available in several configurations for the manufacturing of a variety of product designs and structures:
· Fluff version, for the manufacturing of lady napkins with fluff absorbent core;
· Ultra version, suitable for products with “ultra” airlaid absorbent core
· Swing version, which allows the alternative manufacturing of the above product structures.
A real innovative “up & down process” to allow for maximum containment of production costs and easy operation.
Compact design, self-contained pneumatic piping, vacuum ducting and electrical wiring and “sliding-off” electrical cabinets united with the main machine body, for easy and fast installation and start-up.

  RAW MATERIAL FEEDING SYSTEMS
Two-reels unwinders equipped with axially driven expanding spindles, tension controls with dancers, full-speed automatic splicer, electronic web tracking system.
Turret-type stand-holder for release-paper reels.
De-festooning system for airlaid material available as an alternative.
  OPERATION UNITS, DRIVE TRAIN AND ANCILLARY SYSTEMS

  SAFETY
Full-accessibility safety guards on operator side with Lexan windows.

The whole machine has been designed keeping in mind operators' safety. Continuous improvements are accomplished thanks to dedicated internal audits. Safety guards with safety switches and security locks are installed. A variety of jib hoists are available, including special types designed for easy and safe semi-automatic reel-handling from the pallet to the machine.
