FNL Premium is available in

Unwinders with servo-driven expanding
spindles, tension controls with dancers, web accumulation
systems and automatic “Controlled-Speed-Splicing”
systems with "Zero-Speed"
“cut&splice” devices.
Materials cross-wise position controlled through
electronic web tracking and self-alignment
equipment. Additional tension control
devices, with servo-driven equipment, guarantee
the best web tension control along the whole web
flow and allow reduced tension in case of accurate
application of delicate materials.
A new, special-design, turret-type unwinder is used
for release-paper: as a result,
splicing procedures are always operated on the most
appropriate side of the web, thus guaranteeing accuracy
and maximum reliability in splicing operations. |

Different feeding systems available
for airlaid absorbent core, designed
to handle material supplied in all the different
forms offered by the market (reels, festoons).
Systems for the on-line assembly of airlaid and
SAP cores are available.
Rotary drum pad forming for 3D flat pad or longitudinally
profiled fluff pads.
Specific pressing “feet”
are utilized to improve pad stability.
The machine can be equipped with one or
two forming sections. MODE

for highly efficient fiberization of any kind of
treated or untreated pulp with low power consumption.
Single or double infeed
systems are available (for manual and automatic

Fameccanica-design process
units guarantee the effectiveness and accuracy
of each step of the manufacturing process at the
high production-speed performed.
Each of them include the most advanced features
needed for the specific application and for long
life of the components. According to the specific
units, typical characteristics are: temperature
control, systems for fine adjustment and pressure
control, re-phasing systems, integrated lubrication
systems, torque limiters with individual setting
operated via PLC.
Independent motorizations of process
elements: release paper and wings tape applications
are equipped with dedicated systems for easy
size-change.
Snap-disconnecting devices facilitate
the easy removing of process units and carrier belts
when operating size-change or maintenance; specific
table-hoists are available for easy loading
and unloading of complete process units
for fast size change-over. |
FAMECCANICA
LASER CUTTING TECHNOLOGY
The FAMECCANICA LASER CUTTING
TECHNOLOGY is a proven turn-key solution
specifically developed by Fameccanica for
the purpose of cutting and shaping disposable
articles such as lady sanitary napkins, panty
shields, baby diapers and training pants,
adult diapers and adult pull-up pants.
The system provides:
- high flexibility during operations
- lower overall costs
- easier management of size change
- elimination of cutting unit-ops and spare
parts handling |

phases (start-up, shut-down, changeover).
Alpha numerical display of operation
messages on machine running mode, downtime and automatically
rejected products. |

Quality control system
with raw material presence and/or application control
and automatic rejection of defective products, to
guarantee top-quality production targets.
Customized systems for visual web inspection
are available to check products while being manufactured
(one or more inspection points can be put in operation
on the same line). |

DATA SUPERVISION |

| The D.P.S.S. product data
management system is available for effective
collection, storage and analysis of production
data (production, scraps and downtime,
Pareto charts). |

| A wide range of specific equipment
can be installed for the filtration of the air needed
for the manufacturing process (self cleaning rotary
filters, dry sacs systems, equipment for connection
to centralized plant filtering systems, etc.). |

Designed in compliance with European
Safety Regulations.
The whole machine has been designed keeping in mind
operators' safety. Continuous improvements are accomplished
thanks to dedicated internal audits.
Safety guards with safety switches and security
locks are installed.
Different kinds of jib hoists are available, including
special types designed for easy and safe semi-automatic
reel-handling from the pallet to the machine. |
