| MAIN
FEATURES |
|
|
The machine features a “longitudinal”
manufacturing process and has been designed for
the manufacturing of pant type diapers,
with waist elasticization through pre-made
stretch side panels applied on the rectangular
chassis.
This is a more flexible machine
also suitable for the manufacturing
of standard baby diapers with front and
back ears (sandwich type) with the substitution
of one process unit in the final part of the machine.
New 2008 version” features
improved performances for the Training pant manufacturing.
“Full servo technology”:
each process unit is independently driven as well
as each material feeding and transport system so
that machine set-up and format change operations
are easier and each process step can be quickly
adapted when different materials are used or operating
conditions change. “Full modularity”:
the machine is modularly designed so that it can
be accurately configured for the specific product
structure agreed. Future upgrades
are easier as the upgrading kits can be easily plugged
to the existing configuration. “Easy
installation and start-up”: thanks
to the high integration of utilities inside modules,
it is possible to achieve the best results even
in terms of quick installation
at the Customer’s plant and future
relocations become easier. |
|
The machine is equipped with
innovative low-tension unwinders.
Two different modalities for the reel unwinding
of most raw materials: on-line
or off-line. Both include unwinders
with servo-driven expanding spindles, tension
control with single dancer, web accumulation system
and automatic “zero-speed splicing”
systems with “cut&splice” devices.
Special devices for easy web preparation are employed.
These unwinders minimize the stress on
materials during splices keeping web
force lower than 10 N, thus allowing for the use
of less expensive materials and, in turn, for
the reduction of final product cost; this system
increases machine efficiency due
to the reduced downtimes.
The cross-wise position of materials is controlled
through electronic web tracking and self-alignment
equipment.

MODE DIP Mill
(New 2008 released version with enhanced performances)
for highly efficient fiberization of any kind of
treated or untreated pulp with low power consumption;
special hardening system for fiberizing teeth; servo-driven
double infeed system for pulp web
advancing and automatic splicing capability,
suitable for on-line mixing of two different pulps.
The machine can be equipped with one or
more mills.
The rotary drum forming allows for the manufacturing
of contoured, flat or longitudinally and/or cross-wise
profiled pads and is suitable for “ultra-thin”
absorbent core formation. “Multistream”
forming capability allows different absorbent core
designs and effective S.A.P. blend applications.
The machine can be integrated, as an option, with
the Fameccanica Su.Per.Form. Module,
the Superior Performance Forming Module specifically
designed for “ultra-thin”
absorbent core formation, high ratios SAP/Fluff,
high pad integrity, maximum pad weight accuracy. |
| |
| Fameccanica-design
process guarantee the effectiveness and
the accuracy of each step of the manufacturing
process.
Each of them include the most advanced
features needed for the specific application
and for long life of the components. According
to the specific units, typical characteristics
are: temperature control (heating or chilling)
systems, fine adjustment systems, re-phasing systems,
integrated lubrication systems and devices for
easy disconnection.
Special solutions are in use
to guarantee maximum flexibility and easy product
change, thanks to the use of sliding guides that
permit the easy loading and unloading of the units
to be changed with limited adjustments on the
drive side.
Latest version adopts new process
concepts: new units have been successfully developed
to get the highest machine efficiency
and “Easy&fast” size change,
to increase production capability
and to guarantee the maximum machine reliability.

|
New Fameccanica DATAMATE
system is available and integrated in the converter
operator panel, for the collection, storage and
analysis of production data (production, scraps
and downtime).
Additional functions for specific requirements are
available with Fameccanica Datamate “Plus”:
an advanced version allowing also for the monitoring
of raw material consumption and for multi-shift
statistical analysis. |
|
| A wide range of specific equipment
can be installed for the filtration of the air needed
for the manufacturing process (self cleaning rotary
filters, dry sacs systems, equipment for connection
to centralized plant filtering systems, etc.). |
|
According to final destination,
the machine can be designed in compliance to local
safety regulations
(CE for European Countries, and
UL or CSA for
North American Countries, etc.) |
