Forming Section
ULTRATHIN CORE: HIGH INTEGRITY AND DENSITY, LOW WEIGHT VARIATION
Our machines are equipped with forming sections (H-Forming and U-Forming) with an extremely wide range of achievable SAP/Fluff ratios and capable of producing ultrathin absorbent cores with a SAP content higher than 70%. U-forming system is able to produce cores with a SAP/Fluff ratio up to 80%/20%. Thus, U-forming is installed on our High performance machines like FA-X P10 and FA-X E8.
Fluffless Core
LOW REWET, FAST ACQUISITION TIME AND LIQUID DISTRIBUTION
The Fluffless Core solution has different structures, thanks to our technologies for manufacturing baby diapers with soft and thin cores. We can have excellent results in terms of core integrity, combined with high softness when wet. Fluffless Core has been designed to facilitate Customers in creating diapers with low rewet, fast acquisition time and liquid distribution.
3D Laminate
DUAL SIDE HIGH-LOFT LAMINATE FOR ENHANCED 3D WEBS
Significant increase of thickness/softness. Thickness increase is normally 3 times higher than flat layers (+200% and over).
Different aesthetics on the two sides (protrusions and channels).
Sap Intermittent System
A LOSS-IN-WEIGHT DOSING CONTROL PROCESS
Our system for the intermittent dosing of SAP works with a loss-in- weight dosing control process (not affected by SAP density variations) to be installed on Fameccanica Optisap 700 system. It doesn’t need any kind of hardware size change and both the SAP quantities and exact positioning can be managed via software.

A superior quality of fluff core as the forming section and all the airflows have been optimized through a proper fluidodynamic modeling and particles behaviour simulation. Mill is positioned on Top, close to the forming chamber.
U-forming section allows to have very ultrathin cores, flat or profiled, with very high SAP contents (more than 50%). Core weight is constantly controlled through all pressing sections. Fluffless core is available as option.

High process flexibility: as an option the “machine direction”process allows to switch, just changing few process units in the final part of the converter, from pants to open diapers with “sandwich-type” front and back ears. FLS is a stand-alone machine for the lamination of material for Elastic Side Panels.
Once laminated, the web is rewound in reels ready to be used on converting machines.
The “spool re-winder” option is available upon request.
The system couples two nonwoven layers with one elastic film creating, at the same time, transpiring spots (Fameccanica Patent Technology).
Different levels of raw material elasticization are available.
