Today, April 28, is the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, established in 2003 by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to promote the prevention of accidents and diseases at a global level.

On such an important day, we want to celebrate 1085 accident-free days at our sites. These nearly 3 accident-free years demonstrate our commitment to promoting a culture of safe work and protection for all our people.

In fact, for years we have implemented policies and actions dedicated to workplace safety, such as:

  • HS&E courses and training for all employees, reaching over 3500 hours of training in 2021;
  • Implemented the Occupational Health and Safety Management System certified since 2009, according to the OHSAS18001 standard;
  • Implemented the Occupational Health and Safety Management System certified since 2018, according to the ISO45001 standard;
  • Established the Health, Safety and Environment Policy aimed at defining the commitments made for risk prevention and continuous improvement of Health and Safety;
  • Invested in seismic upgrades and improvements to all our facilities;
  • Designed the new Headquarters and the new Plant in Italy according to the strictest international standards.

An important goal for Fameccanica and its people.
