With this spirit of collaboration, Lab B+, an advanced laboratory that aims to become a center of scientific and educational excellence, was created, inaugurated on May 12 at the presence of Prof. Gian Luca Gregori, Univpm Rector, Prof. Maurizio Bevilacqua, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Michele Germani, Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences DIISM, Dr. Alessandro Iacopini, Univpm General Manager, and Dr. Eleonora Santecchia, Lab B+ Manager.
The focus of Lab+ will be precisely the aggregation of skills and technologies, and scientific development in the field of 3D printing of metals, polymers and composites, along with hardware and software systems.
