With reference to the evolution of the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Italy and all over the World, we would like to inform you that, in line with the last provisions of the Italian Government, all production activities and all the ancillary services to be physically executed in the plant will be stopped and Fameccanica Plant in Italy will be closed until May 3rd, 2020.
Our Task Force Management is working 24-hours per day on safety protocols in close cooperation, among others, with all the competent Health Authorities to guarantee the highest safety and hygiene conditions on the workplaces in Fameccanica Machinery Shanghai, Fameccanica North America and Fameccanica Headquarter in Italy for future activities re-start.
The vast majority of Fameccanica departments will continue to be fully active in smart-working mode so that we can keep on processing administrative matters, quotation inquiries, remote assistance requests and all the services we can provide remotely.
We will do everything in our power to optimize all projects management and secure deliveries, working on solutions to overcome the current exceptional and unpredictable situation to limit potential delays.
As per the supply of Spare Parts, Fameccanica Italy might take advantage of the supply chain of Fameccanica North America and Fameccanica Machinery Shanghai to bridge possible supply shortage in Italy and will look also for alternative suppliers to substitute those members of the usual supply chain who will not be able to provide the necessary parts and components.
