Last week was held the RomaCup 2024, an event promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and ING Italia, and part of the JobDigitalLab project.
During this day in synergy with CodingGirls, created to enhance digital skills and stimulate the achievement of equal opportunities in the STEM field, students from Lazio high schools worked together to respond to the challenge: "Customer Service and the Challenge of Automation. Digital but with Human Touch." Fabrizio Faieta, our Automation & Control Design Manager, was among the judges at the "Hackaton".
The students were asked to create a chatbot application capable of redesigning the customer service experience to improve customer expectations, all focusing on the aspects of understanding, ease of use and empathy.
The goal was not only to design a more effective and inclusive customer service, but also to overcome biases and prejudices related to the world of technology.
It was an interesting and constructive experience that confirmed how important it is for us to stay close to students and collaborate with them.
